Heywood Early Learning Centre

We are a small, local family run service and have been operating for over 20 years. Our Philosophy is a blend of Montessori methods and nature-based play, with a slow approach in delivering program. As presented through our logo;

At the heart of the logo is a flourishing tree, representing growth, strength, learning, and the nurturing environment we strive to provide for every child. The children beneath the tree symbolise curiosity, exploration, and the unique learning journeys that take place each day. The circular design reflects our strong sense of community, connection, and belonging, where children, families, educators, and the wider community come together to support one another. The green tones represent nature, wellbeing, and growth, highlighting our commitment to creating rich learning experiences that foster children's development. The Aboriginal-inspired patterns around the border acknowledge and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of First Nations peoples, recognising the importance of respect, connection to Country, and embedding cultural perspectives within our service.

The gold element in our logo is inspired by our previous slogan and reflects our belief that "Early Learning is Gold" – a reminder that the early years are precious, valuable, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning, wellbeing, and success.
